The Investment Banking Analyst will be responsible for supporting tax-equity, debt, and corporate capital raises and project M&A mandates, primarily for solar energy projects but also those involving energy storage, wind, hydro, landfill natural gas, and other renewable energy technologies. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, capable with financial modeling and structuring, and easy to work with.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project finance modeling in MS Excel
• Tax equity structuring (partnership flip, inverted lease, sale leaseback)
• Debt structuring (back-levered, front-levered, mezzanine)
• Financial analysis and valuations
• Investment memoranda preparation
• Generate client proposals
• Other responsibilities as they arise

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree
• One to two years of experience with financial models and financial structures
• Quantitative aptitude with financial modeling experience (MS Excel)
• Willing to pass FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam as well as series 79 and 63 securities exams
• Aptitude for problem-solving and detail orientation
